About Me

I have a tendency to overwhelm myself. The smallest things all add up together to create this wall that I can't see over, but in reality, it's just a foot high. My mom says I have always 'made mountains out of mole hills,' which I think is an excellent way of saying it. Needless to say, a two year old, a fixer-upper house, and a husband in the Army makes me feel like I am constantly battling my way up Everest. The easiest way I have found to deal with my 'problem' is to just ignore my responsibilities. Unfortunately, bills still need to be paid, my Little Mister still needs to be fed, clothed and entertained, and eventually, reality hits, and I realize I can't put things off anymore.

I have found so many inspiring blogs through Pinterest and random web-crawling that helped me realize that I am not the only one struggling with disorganization, parenting, marriage, even the Military life. Maybe my situation isn't as inspiring as some, but it's an honest account of life in my little corner of the world. I am finally figuring out who I am, and realizing who I want to be, because even though I thought I knew when I was younger, it's getting more and more obvious that I don't have a clue.

This is what I do know:
My name is Theresa and I am an Army wife, a stay-at-home mom to the sweetest, most wonderful, and at the same time most frustrating almost-two year old in the world, and the youngest of three sisters who are really starting to become friends. I am so blessed with my family and my home and am finally learning to appreciate the things that I have and the people in my life. I love to create, whether it's on my computer playing with Photoshop or at my dining room table playing with scissors and glue (or you know, an X-acto knife and Mod Podge) and I love to share my creations.

So go ahead, poke around a bit, hopefully you can find some inspiration of your own. Thank you for stopping by to check out my accomplishments and to give me someone to share my journey with!

~Theresa
